Things are falling apart for the Minnesota Timberwolves.  Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo were both knocked out of Game 4 with injuries.  Bones Hyland was playing well in this series, and now he's questionable.  And it just came out that the breakout star for the Timberwolves in this series in Ayo Dosunmu has been downgraded to questionable now with a calf injury.

Things are opening up for the Nuggets now to win this series.  They handled their business in Game 5 with a 125-113 home win as 11.5-point favorites.  This was a bigger blowout than the final score indicated as the game was in hand heading into the 4th quarter with the Nuggets leading by 22.

Even if Hyland and Dosunmu play tonight, the Timberwolves still lack the horses to compete with the Nuggets without Edwards and DiVincenzo.  They managed to shoot 50.6% from the field and 42.9% from 3 in Game 5 and still were non-competitive.  It's unlikely they shoot that well again in Game 6.  Bet the Nuggets Thursday.

20* Celtics/76ers Game 6 No-Brainer on OVER 212

Joel Embiid is back for the 76ers and playing at an MVP level since making his 2026 NBA playoff debut in Game 4.  He had 26 points and 6 assists in 34 minutes in a 128-96 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 that saw 224 combined points.

Embiid was even better in Game 5, going for 33 points and 8 assists in 39 minutes of a 113-97 victory and 210 combined points.  It was a travesty that game did not go over the total as the Celtics missed their final 16 shots of the game and scored just 11 points total in the 4th quarter.

The 76ers should have another very efficient offensive game here led by Embiid and Maxey in Game 6.  But the Celtics should be much better offensively after shooting just 40.4% from the field, 28.2% from 3 and 60.9% from the FT line in Game 5.  They couldn't have shot it worse.  They are an elite shooting team and will hang a big number on the 76ers in Game 6 to pave the way to us cashing this OVER 212 ticket.  Bet the OVER in this game Thursday.
