Taking EAST CAROLINA tonight. I thought NC State would really take care of ECU in their opener. Instead, we got a dogfight with ECU in position to force OT or even win. Then they destroyed Campbell 56-3. They now are road faves vs Coastal Carolina who looks like they are in for a tough season. 48-7 loser to Virginia. Ok. ACC team. Pass. But 13-0 over Charleston Southern? You were a 28pt favorite! Up 3-0 heading into the 4th quarter. It is one thing to have a flat spot between 2 big games. But Really - Virginia + ECU. And you got trucked by 41 points. That's your effort? Pirates should get the booty and win by 10+ tonight.  4* Money Maker EAST CAROLINA

Taking GEORGIA TECH. Yes, Line has moved down a bit. Do your bankroll a favor, and get a monthly or season long pass. I am not the guy waiting to see who everyone else is on before betting and posting plays. There can be game day adds, but the majority of College Football + NFL is bet ahead of time. - Now. I still like GT with the 3.5 as I write this up. Clemson was totally outclassed at home by LSU. Then they struggled against Troy - down 16-0 as 30 point favorites before winning 27-16. Flat spot. Slow start. Whatever you want to call it. Not a great look off a loss. Now you are laying points on the road to a feisty Tech team. No thanks. 4* Money Maker GEORGIA TECH 

Taking the COLTS. I like Daniel Jones. I thought he showed flashes in NY. Now he has another solid RB behind him, a good OL and a coach I like. I read the Colts are the first team since 1978 to score on every single drive in their 33-8 win over Miami last week. Denver was in a dog fight with the Titans. Bo Nix not all that sharp with 2 INTs. A 50 yard run by Harvey set up the 19 yard TD for Dobbins that was the difference maker in a 20-12 game. Line has come down since the opener. Makes sense from the eye test. Denver is better than Miami. But I like Colts QB with a little chip on his shoulder to deliver another home win. Chargers on deck for Denver. 4* Money Maker INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 

Taking the EAGLES. What do the schedule makers know that we don't? I mean. Who wants to see Philly/KC again. I mean Super Bowl rematch 40-22 Eagles blowout this past February. Or Eagles 21-17 after KC held on 38-35 in ANOTHER Super Bowl. But hey - Falcons/ Vikings. Pennix and McCarthy - the new Hurtz/Mahomes I guess! -- Geez.. Alright - I will keep this simple now. You see the scores I posted - 2 Super Bowls and a rematch game, like this one. I think KC has a chance of course. You get routed in the Super Bowl, you want your pound of flesh in revenge. Can they deliver? In Brazil, 3 FGs. 35-59-27. The offense is struggling, again, and in Week 1. Worthy out. Kelce can't keep bailing this team out. I think Philly is just the better team. Taking the STEELERS. Steelers come in off a crazy win getting outgained 394-271. Seattle losses a game outgaining San Fran 384-230. Early start time for Seattle. Have to lean with the veteran QB + HC to get it done. Darnold doesn't have Fields legs to keep the defense off balance.  4* Money Maker PITTSBURG STEELERS

Taking the JETS, again. Well. So these guys covered +3 last week, but did not advance me in Circa Survivor! We have one team rallying to a win, the other rallying to a loss. Jets should be able to put up points on a leaky Buffalo defense. How have they improved? 40 to the Ravens last week. If Harbaugh doesn't go safe, they probably put up 54+ and win the game. 32 to KC, 25 to Balt, 23 to NE, 21 to NE, 42 to Detroit, 44 to the Bills, 21 to KC, 20 to the Colts, 27 to Miami, 20 to the Jets, 23 to the Texans, 35 to the Ravens. This Jets team can score. And when the Bills face just ok teams, they give up at least 23. 6-7-8 doesn't matter what the line is. tough spot off a tough game, grab the points in what should come down to a FG. 4* Money Maker NEW YORK JETS 

Taking the JAGUARS here. Line has moved down, still like Jacksonville thought. Do your bankroll a favor and tune into my Look Ahead Lines Show that I do Live weekly. Then these numbers will not be foreign to you. They say to never overreact to what we see week to week in NFL. Totally agree. Jaguars pounded a bad Carolina team ( I had the Panthers +3) into the ground. Bengals escape with their defense saving the day. Line comes down. Makes sense. But, Cincy struggling early in a season. Not an overreaction. Bengals have been terrible with Burrow under center and this HC the last few years. First Week 1 win since 2021 - And when you see 113 passing yards in Week 1, you darn well know people are going to say same ole Cincy. I also like the OVER in this one. Cleveland getting outgained 327-141 tells me there is still work to do on defense. Jags keep this one close. 4* Money Maker JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Taking ARIZONA. I will say what I said last week. If Kyler Murray can't get this team to a double digit win, then it is time to move on. And honestly. I am a bit worried here. I did lose with Carolina last week. I think they will be improved. Nobody is ever as bad or good as they look the week before. That is always running through my head. But, back to back roadies for Bryce Young and the Panthers - never easy. Especially when you are already a bad team. Cards needed a late stop to pull out a cover and a win. I think it should be a bit easier getting to cover the number here at home. Should be able to gash a terrible Panthers run defense - eat clock - score and move on to San Fran (We took ARZ +2.5 already now 1.5) 4* Money Maker ARIZONA CARDINALS

Taking the TITANS. Huge revenge spot for the Titans off that Super Bowl loss 26 years ago! Rams beat Houston 14-9 and Titans put up 133 yards in Denver. Rookie Cam Ward had a 7.3 QBR. Yikes! Taking 6 sacks. Oh my. Eagles on deck a much bigger fish to fry. These lines at 5.5 to me always scream dog. Just last week we saw the Browns and Saints in battles. Stafford turned Nacua into Ladd McConkey last week 10 for 130, he only threw for 240. If the Jets didn't cost me 17 million last week in Circa Survivor, I would be taking the Titans this week. 4* Money Maker TENNESSEE TITANS

Will grab the COWBOYS in this one. This was an easy take at -3 after Dallas showed some life vs Philly on Thursday Night. I did think the Giants would cover (Had them +points) and possibly steal a win. But Russell continues to not cook. I almost want to just do Under Passing Props on the guy because he will be benched during a game and the Dart era will begin. Is that here? Possibly? I am no fan of the Dallas defense, I expect them to give up points today. But the Dallas offense with Dak running the show is on par or better than Daniels bunch. I will say this with his WR/TEs. Who knows how that game plays out with no weather delay. I am not thrilled about having to now cover a number that is approaching a TD. That being said, still back to back division road games for the Giants. Big Blue is 1-15 SU an d 4-12 ATS in this series going back a few years. If the WRs can hang onto the ball, and they don't get a costly fumble from a RB, Cowboys should sail to a double digit win. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the LIONS. We have had this bet locked in since August. Just like the Packers on Thursday. I told you on Mid Day Money way back in July - Packers beat Detroit Week 1 - the line will go up. Bears look like garbage and lose at home on MNF, the line will go up. Well - surprise. Here we are. Line move won't matter. Bears with the short week, on the road, vs a team that needs a win. Bears couldn't put a way, a rookie basically, playing at home, winning, going into the 4th quarter. And you expect me to believe in them enough against Goff + Detroit off of laying an egg.
