Free College Basketball Picks for 11/15/08
November 15, 2008
It’s the first big Saturday of the college basketball season and there are plenty of games to choose from today. Most of our handicappers will work their way into the season, so don’t expect any big packages with tons of plays today, but there are a few that will release a game or two that they really like.
The first package that you should take a look at today comes from Mr. East. He’s got his top play of the day going on Saturday and he is 1-0 on the year after cashing in on Clemson last night. Join him today and let him add a little cash to your bankroll.
Jimmy Boyd has three college basketball plays going today after starting the year off at 3-2. Jimmy has been one of the best NCAA basketball handicappers over the years and he should be ready to roll with another big year of winning just around the corner. Get started early and don’t miss a single winner all year long from this top handicapper!
Those aren’t the only two with plays today, Doc Sports gets his season kicked off today. Doc has head a great two year run and we expect nothing less out of him this year, and it all gets started today. Jack Jones has a pair of winners today as well after getting a couple of tough breaks in yesterday’s 1-2 performance. He has a couple of big name teams in his package, so might be better for the average gambler.
Free Play for Saturday:
Evansville -4 -110
The Missouri Valley is a much better conference than the Ohio Valley. It showed last year as the Aces finished in last in the Valley, but beat the Govenors who won the Ohio Valley. Evansville has won 4 of the last 6 meetings and they have all 5 starters back, and their top 2 reserves. You should see them finish better than expected in the conference. The Aces are also very good at protecting their home court and they shoot the ball well. They have a strong, experienced backcourt with Shy Ely, and Jason Holsinger a veteran duo who can shoot the ball, and set up the offense. Ely is an all conference player, and Holsinger really came into his own last season. Nate Garner looks as if he is stepping up to give the Aces a strong 3rd option. He had 11 and 20 respectively in the 2 exhibition games, and has the experience to enable him to do so. Evansville has the unique ability to adapt to their opponents and counter their strengths. They have the capibility to go to a 4 guard lineup, or can go big by adding 7 foot red shirt frosh Zach House, and Pieter Van Tongeren. The Aces have a huge advantage in the backcourt since other than Drake Reed Austin Peay has a relatively inexperienced group. They lost their leading rebounder, leading 3 point shooter, and most importantly 4 year starter at point guard. Reed will get his, but I think Evansville has the ability to go big at times and throw countless bodies at him.
