I think the runs ends here however as it will be playing the most athletic team it has seen this far. The Pilots rolled over UCLA but the Bruins are in a major rebuilding mode right now. They then took out the Gophers and it was a surprising win based on the fact they shot less than 40 percent from the floor while committing 19 turnovers and dishing out just nine assists. It helped that Minnesota shot 33.3 percent from the floor including going just 3-19 (15.8 percent) from long range. Portland is going to give Gonzaga a run out in the West Coast Conference but let’s face it. This is still a team from the WCC playing one of the top teams in the Big East and a top ten team in the country. The Mountaineers look like they have one of their best teams ever and they have had some good ones. They are finally at full strength after Devin Ebanks, a first team All-Big East selection, made his debut in the last game against Texas A&M. He scored 14 points and grabbed nine boards off the bench and with Ebanks back in the lineup, this is a legitimate Final Four team as the frontcourt of he and Da’Sean Butler is one of the best around. The backcourt isn’t too shabby either. This team expects to win this tournament and with head coach Bob Huggins already stating how bad his team is, you know there will be some fire for tonight. 9* West Virginia Mountaineers
